Exercise 3 - Overlapping Names​

  1. Open the Master Schedule with MY FIRST MULTI-INSTANCE SCHEDULE selected and expand the Instance Definitions tab.
  2. Create New Property Set instances of the TIME=10 and TIME=20 Properties with the following paths:
    • C:\Multi-Instance\Accounting (already created)
    • C:\Multi-Instance\Finance
    • C:\Multi-Instance\Marketing
  3. Verify that each version of the MY FIRST MULTI-INSTANCE SCHEDULE is Closed for Today's date (do not delete them).
  4. Build the Schedule and verify the results.
Note

You should have 6 Schedules built (4 with $000# in the name)

Enterprise Manager​

Details
  1. Open the Master Schedule with MY FIRST MULTI-INSTANCE SCHEDULE selected and click the Instance Definition tab.
  2. Create Instances of the TIME=10 and TIME=20 Properties with the following paths:
    • C:\Multi-Instance\Accounting (already created)
    • C:\Multi-Instance\Finance
    • C:\Multi-Instance\Marketing
  3. Click the Save button.
  4. Verify that each version of the MY FIRST MULTI-INSTANCE SCHEDULE is Closed for Today's date (do not delete them).
  5. Build the Schedule and verify the results.
